Jim Thorpe is said to be one of the greatest athletes of all time. He was a professional football player, a professional baseball player and the first president of the American Professional Football Association which would soon become the NFL. He was born on May 28th 1887 in Oklahoma. He was an outstanding man and the greatest all around athlete the world has ever seen, except perhaps for myself.

After I completed my research on Thorpe I was surprised that I had not heard of him before. He is a very interesting sounding man. Let me know if you had heard of him.
